BRICS around the world

The BRICs, as independent countries from each other, are part of different global organizations. We can have a brief view of the most importants ones:

Brazil: The main exporter of hydrocarbons of the group is part of:

1)G-15, an informal forum set up to foster cooperation and provide input for other international groups

2)CEPAL, the United nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, is a UN regional commission to encourage economic cooperation

3) MERCOSUR, the main purpose of it is to promote free trade and fluid movement of goods, people and currency.

Russia: Russia, the future world supplier of raw materials belongs to:

1)IAEA, the International Atomic Energy Agency, is an international organization that seeks to promote the peaceful use of nuclear energy.

2)WTO, the World Trade Organization, is an intergovernmental organization that regulates international trade.

India: The second most populated country of the world is inside this organizations:

1) UN, the United Nations, is an intergovernmental organization who promotes international co-operation and creates and maintains international order.

2) SAARC, the South Asian Association for regional Cooperation, is the intergovernmental organization and geopolitical union of nations in South Asia.

3)WTO, the World Trade Organization, is an intergovernmental organization that regulates international trade.

China: China, as the most powerful country of the group, and as one of the main economic powers of the whole world belongs to :

1) ANSEA, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, an organization which promotes intergovernmental cooperation and facilitates economic, political, military, educational and sociocultural integration among its members and other Asian states.

2) APEC, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, an inter-governmental forum that promotes free trade throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

3)SCO, the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, an Eurasian political, economic and security alliance.

South Africa: the last country who joined the BRICs has several relations with global organizations, such as:

1) ACP, the African, Caribbean and pacific Group of States, has as its main objective the sustainable development and poverty reduction within its member states.

2)FAO, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, is a specialized agency of the United Nations that leads international efforts to defeat hunger.
